The fine print, in plain English.
Why 10% per print?
It covers card processing (which costs about 6% on small top-ups), refunds, fraud protection, customer support, and hosting. You never see a separate card fee.
Are there setup fees or contracts?
No setup fees and no long-term contract on the Own plan. It's month to month, so you can cancel anytime and keep your printer.
How much does the hardware cost?
We sell the printer and station box at cost, with no markup: about $380 for our standard kit (Epson EcoTank ET-2980, color and two-sided, plus the station box). Already have a printer? You can start with it at no hardware cost. Ask us for a quote.
Who decides what customers pay?
On the Own plan, you do. Most stores charge 20–25¢ for black & white and 50¢–$1 for color. Your prices show on the QR sign and on the customer's phone before they print.
When do I get paid?
Revenue is paid out to your bank account through Stripe on a regular schedule, after the PrintAisle fee. Every print is itemized in your dashboard.
What if a customer's print fails?
They're refunded to their balance automatically, and that print doesn't count toward your revenue or our fee.
